Deliciously creamy no bake chocolate orange cheesecake perfect for dessert

Base:

  • 280g digestive biscuits
  • 70g butter

Chocolate Ganache Layer:

  • 450g milk chocolate
  • 250g double cream

Cream Cheese Layer

  • 350g cream cheese
  • 220g double cream
  • 1 orange zest
  • cocoa powder to serve

Method:

  1. Line the base of a 23cm loose bottom cake tin with baking parchment. Blend the biscuits as finely as possible in a food processor and mix with the melted butter. Pour the mixture into the tin, pressing down to flatten and set aside in the fridge.
  2. For the chocolate layer, put the chocolate, cream into a bowl and melt over a pan of simmering water. Once melted, stir together and pour over the biscuit base, and place in the fridge to set for 2-3 hours.
  3. When the chocolate layer is set,  in a bowl beat the cream cheese, double cream,  orange zest together, then spread the mix evenly over the chocolate layer. Then put it back in the fridge to set for a couple of hours.
  4. To serve, remove from the fridge, sieve over the cocoa powder.Remove for the tin and use a hot knife to cut to prevent the layers from mixing.
