Redhot Buffalo Wings

This chicken wings recipe only uses 4 ingredients, Redhot sauce, butter, Chicken wings and a spray of oil.

  • 1 kg Chicken wings, split in to drums and flats
  • 100 g Redhot Sauce
  • 100 g Butter
  • 1 tbsp oil


  • Preheat the oven to 220°C. In a bowl, place the chicken wings and coat in oil. Then place on a baking tray with a silicon mat.
  • Cook in the oven for 40 minutes, flip them over halfway through.
  • Whilst the chicken is cooking, on a low heat in a pan melt the butter and Redhot sauce together. You don't want this mixture to get too hot as it will split and not form an emulsion.
  • When the wings are cooked place in a clean bowl with the red hot sauce. Toss the wings in the sauce and serve in a bowl with optional spring onions and lime segments.
