Deliciously creamy no bake chocolate orange cheesecake perfect for dessert
- 280g digestive biscuits
- 70g butter
Chocolate Ganache Layer:
- 450g milk chocolate
- 250g double cream
Cream Cheese Layer
- 350g cream cheese
- 220g double cream
- 1 orange zest
- cocoa powder to serve
- Line the base of a 23cm loose bottom cake tin with baking parchment. Blend the biscuits as finely as possible in a food processor and mix with the melted butter. Pour the mixture into the tin, pressing down to flatten and set aside in the fridge.
- For the chocolate layer, put the chocolate, cream into a bowl and melt over a pan of simmering water. Once melted, stir together and pour over the biscuit base, and place in the fridge to set for 2-3 hours.
- When the chocolate layer is set, in a bowl beat the cream cheese, double cream, Â orange zest together, then spread the mix evenly over the chocolate layer. Then put it back in the fridge to set for a couple of hours.
- To serve, remove from the fridge, sieve over the cocoa powder. Remove for the tin and use a hot knife to cut to prevent the layers from mixing.
