Creamy Mushroom Sourdough Toast
This has to be on of my favourite breakfast's, it is so quick and easy to make but take so good! A soft and crispy sourdough toast with handful of fresh spinach and mushrooms in a creamy sauce.
Ingredients
- 2 Slices of Sourdough bread
- Handful of spinach
- Handful of mushrooms
- ½ tsp Garlic puree
- 15 g Butter
- 100 ml Double cream
- 2 tsp Cream cheese
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Slice the mushroom and heat a pan on a medium heat until the butter is melted. Add the mushrooms and garlic puree to the pan and cook until the mushrooms start to turn golden.
- Meanwhile place the sourdough bread in the toaster.
- Add the cream cheese and double cream to the pan. Cook through until the creamy sauce takes on a brownish colour and thickens slightly. Season to taste.
- Top the toast with the fresh spinach and then the creamy mushroom. Serve immediately.
