Vegan Fully Loaded Flapjack
These flapjacks are packed full of nuts, seeds and dried fruit which makes them perfect for a mid-morning snack.
Ingredients
- 300 g Porridge oats
- 65 g Plain flour
- 120 g Mixed nuts
- 220 g Mixed dried fruits
- 75 g Mixed Seeds
- 170 g Stork block
- 170 g Light brown sugar
- 150 g Golden syrup
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 160°C fan/180°C/gas mark 4 and grease an 8 inch square baking tin.
- Mix the porridge oats, plain flour, mixed nuts, mixed dried fruit and mixed seeds in a bowl.
- In a saucepan melt the stork block, light brown sugar and golden syrup together until it forms a smooth liquid.
- Mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until everything is coated evenly.
- Press the mixture into the baking tin and place in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
- Once cooked, leave the flapjack to cool in the tin and to firm up, before slicing into individual pieces.
