A beautiful simple breakfast which take 5 minutes to put together. Vanilla flavoured natural Greek yogurt, topped with goji berries, cranberries, fresh strawberries, blueberries and drizzle in honey.
EVERYTHING YOUâ€™LL NEED FOR THE GREEK YOGURT BREAKFAST
- Greek yogurt
- Vanilla extract
- Runny honey
- Goji berries
- Pumpkin seeds
- Sunflower seeds
This bowl of goodness is so simple that you can barely call it a recipe. Greek yogurt, honey with fruit, berries and seeds are rich in proteins, healthy omega-3 fats, vitamins, lactobacteria and many other nutrients.
Make sure to get your hands on some good quality Greek yogurt, which is thick, creamy and rich in flavour. Local honey is always the best kind of honey, as it’s the key ingredient in the breakfast bowl it needs to be good quality too, preferably organic. Don’t be put off by honey that has already crystallised: better quality honey has a lower water content meaning it is more likely to crystallise. For a low fat version you can use low fat Greek yogurt, however it won’t be as creamy and indulgent as the full fat version.
Greek yogurt Breakfast
- 400 ml Greek yogurt
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- Handful of goji berries
- Handful of strawberries
- Handful of blueberries
- Handful of pumpkin and sunflower seeds
- 4 tsp Organic honey
- Mix the Greek yogurt and vanilla extract.
- Place the mixture into a bowl.
- Top with a variety of seeds and berries, before drizzling over honey.
