Nando’s Churrasco Thigh Burger
Feast your eyes on our sweet and smoky churrasco thigh burger. Succulent, marinaded boneless thigh fillets served in a ciabatta roll, filled with lettuce, tomato and topped with a Nando's perinaise.
Ingredients
Mariande
- 1 kg Boneless chicken thighs
- 1 Lime, juice & zest
- 3 Clementines, juice
- 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
- 2 Garlic cloves, grated
- 2 tsp Dried oregano
- 1 tsp Chilli flakes
- 3 tsp Smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp Chilli sauce
- 1 tsp White wine vinegar
- 1 tsp Caster sugar
Accompaniments
- 4 Ciabatta rolls
- Handful of lettuce leaves
- 2 Tomatoes, sliced
- Nando's perinaise
Instructions
- Mix all of the marinade ingredients in a bowl with the chicken thighs. Place in the fridge and allow to marinade for 3 hours.
- Cook the Chicken thighs under the grill or on a BBQ. The thickness will depend on how long it takes to cook. It will take about 5 minutes each side.
- Toast the ciabatta rolls. Fill with the chicken thighs, lettuce, tomatoes and perinaise sauce.
