YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED
What kind of sugar can you use to make whipped coffee?
You should use granulated sugar but if you don’t have it you can use white sugar, brown sugar or raw sugar.
Can I make whipped coffee without sugar?
Yes you can BUT! it doesn’t stay fluffy as long as the sugar version because as the mixture cools the sugar helps form the matrix and therefore it takes longer for the air bubbles to leave. The sugar version stays fluffy for hours, without the sugar it stays as fluffy for about 2 minutes, then begins to slowly dissolve for another 5 minutes until it’s liquid again. Also, bear in mind that you are using a lot of coffee and without the sugar its a very strong mixture!
I don’t have a hand mixer. How else can I make whipped coffee?
Yes you can make it by hand but will take around 20 minutes and you will probably have a tired arm by the end of it! If you are doing it by hand you would have to use a whisk and not a spoon as it will take even longer.
Can I use hot or cold milk?
Yes you can use either, personally I prefer it with cold milk but that’s up to you!
